Need some input from you guys.

That's the plan. ;)

Misspoke on this. I thought you were referring to my sheaths being interchangeable from Tek-Loc to drop leg.

On that note, however, doing drop leg attachments for other sheaths with Tek-Lok spaced mounting holes would be easy to do, so I'll offer this as an option too.

Mike gave me a thumbs up on the elastic pommel cover, so that's looking like a probability .

That sounds pretty good. I don't mind the Tek-Loc too much, and I also don't care too much for drop leg rigs as they often catch on the doors of helos and vehicles; they have their uses and I use them for certain situations, but when traveling via wheel/air, they make a tight fit in the seat. If you make it a drop leg, I would offer the option of the fastex/quick release buckle for the hanger. For my sidearm, I'll wear the drop leg if I'm doing a quick walk around, but when traveling, I'll often remove the drop leg holster as it sucks when sitting in a Blackhawk or Vehicle (I have a secondary IOTV/IBA holster mounted on the chest). Having the Tec-Lok as a high-ride option isn't a bad idea either (removable hanger?). You won't make a sheath that will do everything for everybody, but more options makes it more versatile to the end user...everybody is a little different and every situation is different.

The simple elastic pommel cover is a good idea, just make sure it covers a good inch to inch-n-half; the bonus is that it'll lay flat and not get in the way when you have to re-sheath your knife one-handed without looking.
