"Today sucks"

Those were the words of my long time love and wife when asked to write a sentence last night while being evaluated by the neurosurgeon at Washington State University Medical center. She had been having some problems and we went to her doctor yesterday morning. Things went down hill after a CT scan and her doctor telling her she has a brain tumor. They will operate on her sometime Tuesday. She is the kindest most gentle soul in the world. She has put up with a lot from me. She grew up poor and never had a very easy life for a long time. She always puts everyone else in front of her.

I don't have a lot of close friends. Spend most of our free time home with each other. She was always my best friend as well as so much else. I get the rest of my social life at work and here and at a couple other small places. I didn't ever need much else. We aren't church goers. We believe their is a power far beyond us. We don't try to define the power or ask for much. We try to be good to people and she is wonderful to people and sent much of her life caring for the aged and infirm. Her biggest concern is I'll get stuck with her. See what I mean.

We are home till Tuesday and then who really knows. Sorry to throw a bummer on your days, but,

Please keep her in your thoughts and how ever you communicate with or relate to that which is beyond us please please wish this wonderful woman the best. I guarantee she is far more than worth it. Jim

Oh, I'm so sorry Jim. Even though I'm not a religious person I send hopes and prayers from here, Turkey.
These days tumors are mostly curable, also brain is the most self curing organ of body. My best wishes for your lady and you. I hope she will get well soon ...

That does suck man! I wish I lived closer to you because I'd be right there for you if I did. I'm not a religious person myself, but I do have some friends in "higher places" that I will be contacting for you. You have all my thoughts and positive energy coming you're way. If you need a friend, even if it's a long distance one for now, I'm here for you. Take care and keep thinking positive. Randy.

Jim,
Very sad news.
I wish you and your wife nothing but the best.
She will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Medical technology has come a long ways, they are very advanced now days in working wonders.

Here is to a full and speedy recovery, stay positive.

Just so you are aware, she's got something very strong (protector animal) that is watching over her. I can see it but to describe it would make me sound like I'm crazy, which you've all probably figured out by now. The presence of what some might call "God" is always around because that energy pervades everything that exists. But as far as the will to overcome, it's her power animal that will keep her fighting spirit. I'm not really as crazy as you might think, you'll see....woooooooahahahahaahah!!! Just believe.

Thoughts and prayers sent your way.

I agree about the modern medicine and prayer. Three months ago a very good friend of mine was diagonosed with a brain tumor and supposedly had no hope. Two weeks ago I saw him when he came to work! He's doing great and I have faith your wife will do the same.

Jim, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife and family. I'm praying that she can overcome this tumor and live many more great years! -Matt-

This is just another way too look at it...
I'm going to risk sounding like a crazy lunatic, but I'll do it just for you. Think about it, everythng that exists is energy (call it God if you want). Even that tumor that is inside of her is not some evil force that has taken hold of her, but that is energy too. Sometimes our bodies just have so much energy contained within that we have no way of releasing it, therefore they have a tendency to accumulate this energy in certain places. That's what a tumor or cancer is (from my own inner non-scientific perspective). You're wife I think carries a lot on her shoulders. She cares too much for other people and probably not enough for herself. She would do good for herself by letting someone else carry the burden and releasing some of that energy. Maybe you think this is just crazy "shaman talk", but just give it some thought. This is just how I see things, but there really is no "right" way of seeing things is there? I just want to help you out. Hope you don't think I'm completely crazy. You have a friend request headed you're way. Randy.

Just think... what would happen to the sun if it couldn't release it's energy? We are the same. Sometimes we just need to "shed" some light. Modern medicine can definitely help us with things like this (the physical side of it), but after that, we need to treat ourselves right, stop blaming ourselves and bringing ourselves down. Some forms of energy are just toxic such as smoking, or inhaling grinder dust, our bodies have a hard time getting it out once it's there. I hope this makes some sense. Just know that everything happens for a reason. It is all part of a bigger plan. Keep an open mind and think positive.
