Need suggestions on carrying the Buck 110 and ccw.

If I'm carrying strong-side, a Vantage or Mayo TNT in the pocket. If I'm carrying a shoulder rig, 110 or 500 sheath on the right. If I'm on a Harley, G27 on the weak-side and a 110 or 500 on the right. I'm with the same school of thought as 300Bucks & MT_Pokt, I ditched extra mags & speed loaders years ago.

Scott, I said I wasn't going to say anything else, but because its you that is with me, let me tune-up my opinion statement to everyone. I value accuracy upmost (no bullets hitting bystanders), if the first or second shot is accurate then all the rest of the ammo is weight. Practice, practice, practice. Tap, rack, bang means practicing for misfires or jams, have a shooting buddy put a empty case the third or fourth bullet in the mag. Then when your gun stops shooting you tap the bottom of the mag hard to make sure its seated, you rack back your slide with your hand slightly tilted right and let it go so the full force of the spring puts another round in the chamber. Do that three or four times at least every time you shoot. Then hum Tap, rack, bang when you are watching TV commericals. You need to be able to do this without hesitation.

I know lots of folks use sheaths and other knife carriers but I have gotten to the point I have a knife with a clip and also a gun with an attached clip that slides inside my pants and the clip holds it from sliding down. Usually in the small of my back. Unless you carry a 1911/Glock 17 you get use to the feeling when sitting in car seats and other chairs. Mt-Pokts advice is good also.

Yes I have said it, 300Bucks mostly carries Vantages and sometimes a 309 in the watch pocket. Even in suit pants a small vantage disappears in a back pocket with only the clip showing. Put some black Sharpie on it and it is invisible.
I hardly ever carry my beloved 303s anymore. I think if Ky will try a clip, maybe buy a Vantage on sale to try out he would see the utility. I know some of the knife mechanics that come to the Buck forum can put a clip on any 110 he wants. 300

Haven't heard this suggested yet. Maybe ditch the Multi-tool? or put a clip on it? I have multi tools but never found enough use to actually carry it. It rides in my back pack with flashlight etc. That said the only knife I always have on me is a SAK.

I know it's not the traditional 110, but I've edc a 110 ecolite/paperstone since last Christmas. It's always in my right front pocket. I sometimes experiment with a different knife and ones that clip, but when I do, it's in my front left and my 110 still goes along In my right.
Anyway, the 110 ecolite/paperstone is really light and it does not fall down in my pocket. It rides straight up and down where if I carry most smaller knives, the smaller knives usually fall down sideways in my pocket.
It's very similar to the bucklites of the 1980's, just paperstone (similar to micarta) instead of valox of the old 1980's bucklits and the new one has partial liners.
Another thing, I've always like the 1980's bucklite sheaths. They look like they would be simple to make. I'm sure someone has done this before but I thought about getting my wife to sew me a sheath out of some old blue jeans in the exact same pattern as the old Bucklite sheaths and the blue jean material would blend in with my jeans. Seems like a good idea to me.

Well I decided to do this yesterday as we were traveling to have Christmas with the wife's side of the family. for right now the 110 is back on the belt just on the left hand side. We will see if it stays there. While not as handy as on the right hand side it felt good to have it there again.

Just wanted to give an update. Thanks guys for all the suggestions.
