id raise that price point up to $50 and take the ontario utilitac. your not gonna find a GOOD tac blade at this price point.
 
Ontario Rat 1 @ $25 give or take. Shipping would put it a bit above $30. It's tactical if you have tactics.
 
Buy a Victorinox Pioneer Swiss army knife.

It has the word 'army' in it, which means it's tactical. If it's not tactical enough for you, you can always spend the extra 10 bucks and spray paint it black.
 
Thanks I don't need an amazing tactical folder just one for if the needs arise and I don't have a big budget.
 
There are actually tons of options for 30$. Too many to name one by one, really.

Look into Buck, Kershaw, Byrd , Ontario, Kabar, and even Spyderco. Find some that you like then mention them here for more feedback.

Well the thought was if he can't afford $30, he certainly couldn't afford the necessary classes to know what he is doing with it. A can of pepper spray (while not tactical) will better serve him if the need arises.

I'm also curious as to the age of the OP.
 
When it comes to a sub 30 $ tactical folder IMO it's hard to go wrong with a KA-BAR Dozier Folding hunter .
