OK, there is no rhyme or reason to this question or particular use that I need it for, I just like thick blades...what can I say? It's just what I like. I have looked around but I figured I would ask the people that really know...so if it has a thick blade, I would love to know the make and model. Oh, I don't have an endless supply of money so I would say $400 or less. Thanks for your input!

I hope you realize that the thicker the blade, the more it impedes cutting performance.
But, since you asked...
Check out anything from Nocturnal Knives. They are ridiculously beastly!
Also check Medford knives. Probably the most popular in the "over-overbuilt" style category.

Boker Plus Dark Hollow, Can be had for under 100 dollars any day. 5mm thick Titanium frame and 5mm thick 440C steel. It's a beast of a knife...oh and it does take a really nice edge!

No idea what the thickest is, but my Benchmade Adamas is the thickest folder I've got, and it's 0.16" (4mm) on my calipers.

I'm sure there are thicker.

Cold steel rajah 1-- 5.5mm
rajah 2 --5.4mm (iirc)

If ya gotta, then ya gotta. Just buy the cheapest one you can find, and save the rest of your money for a blade that will slice.
My thickest blade, at 0.190", is a Strider SMF, and it's tough as nails, but I wouldn't call it a slicer. And...I've never carried it.

Thick blade on a budget for a nice folder:

HK14715 - 0.146"

HK14716 - 0.136"

The Rajah 2 has to be, or at least one of the thickest SOB out there.

Compared to what most people consider a thick blade, a strider SnG

The Medford TFF-1 Fat Daddy is .260.

Lionsteel makes thick blades. My SR1A is 5mm. Cuts about how you'd expect it to. It'll gevthe job done but it ain't pretty hehe!

My thickest blade is my Nuclear Knives Kratos, at a hefty hefty hefty 1/4 inch. thickest folder would be my Anthony Griffin Custom knives friction folder.

DPx HEAT/F and HEST are both 5mm thick. They're made by Lionsteel.
