Need Your Input On The Greatest Viking Battle Axe Of ALL Time!!!!

Greatest Viking Battle Axe Of ALL Time!!!

This ⬆️⬆️⬆️ means it has to be the one on the right, if not bigger and longer! Jerry didn’t ask what kind of camp axe you want…

I assume there will be a LE version to match the sword.

Great idea BTW!

If it ends up being single bit, make it look like a Viking axe not a camp axe please!
Agreed!

Extend micarta over entire handle length and taper the tang?

I'm kinda in a historical bender right now, as in the more traditional the better. And traditionally not a single viking axe was 2 sided.

So I'd have to go with option number 2. On a flip side none of the 3 choices are very historical.

So as non historical I'd probably still chose number 2. As it'll be just lighter and I'd be able to field sharpen over the need to use the second bit. I'd probably want a short spike on the back over hammer head, to chop down something, than sink a spike into a log to drag it somewhere.

don't do the middle there a what 3 axes now busse design , do the dual bite ax I like the right one but the first one would do Personally I buy the right one for throwing longer handle for distance throwing

The Viking Long Serpent seems to have generated an outpouring amongst the HOGs for a companion Viking Battle Axe.

So, with that in mind, here are some drawings for you to look at. . .

They will be .210" Thick INFI, and will run anywhere from 17 -20" long overall.

These all feature a handle that tapers at the same angle as the blade on the Viking Long Serpent.

Take a look and tell us what you drink. . . errrr. . . think. . . . tell us what you think!

GO!!!

Let's Drink!

Middle, fo' sho'

Middle for sure! Much more practical and forgiving, just in case it bounces off of your intended recipient…

I like the middle. Sometimes you need to hammer/smash and you don't want to get it stuck.

Can you you manufacture all 4 options as prototypes and then do a re-vote? I wonder how many people would pick all four as there favorite...and buy all four.
What a fun collection that'd be!!!!!!!

If you decide to prototype all four and declare one as the winner, put the other three up for auction so someone can have the collection. Or if you you don't want to do that, I'd be happy to take the losing three axes to the recycling center for you----free of charge. I'd be willing to pay for shipping.
