Need your Thoughts & Prayers for the loss of my son

Man, I am really sorry to hear that. I wish the best for you and yours in this most difficult time.

Dear Sir,

My Dad wrote a song some years ago, that has been a great comfort to many, and I want to share the words with you.
If you would like to hear it, i'd be glad to send you a Tape or CD if you desire one.

"I'm kind of homesick for a country
to which, I've never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken,
for time won't matter anymore.

Beulah-land, I'm longing for you.
And someday, on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.
Beulah-land, Sweet Beulah-land.

I'm looking now accross the river
to where my faith shall end in sight.
There's just a few more days to labor,
then I'll take my heavenly flight.

Beulah-land, I'm longing for you.
And someday, on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.
Beulah-land, Sweet Beulah-land."

King David said this when his Precious Son went out into eternity "He cannot come to me, but I can go to him."

I am glad that through Christ, there's another meeting place.

Praying for you,

sp

Deepest condolences for such a huge loss. May time and fond memories ease the pain. He lives on through all who knew him.

As a father of a boy one year older, this brought to mind a Hopi Prayer.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds
in circled flight. I am the soft stars that
shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry:
I am not there, I did not die.

I want to offer heartfelt condolences for your loss. As a father, I can not imagine a greater loss.

I will keep you and yours in my thought and prayers.

My deepest condolences with the loss of your son. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family and your son.

I also am a father to tennagers; I cannot fathom losing any of my kids.

My sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Robert.

Words cannot suffice for your loss, I am sorry that you are going through this.

Smoke and prayers for you and yours.

I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I offer my most sincere condolences to you for this unfathomable loss. He looked like a fine young man and my hope is for his peace and yours, as well.

Can't imagine what it's like, being about the age of your son myself.

Not a real religious guy, but will take a moment for prayer today; that you find peace, and for your happiness into the future.

Dear man, sorrow takes alot out of a person. We stammer for understanding and struggle to even feel anything else but how this feels because it's a huge burden and yes, a cross to bear. I can't find the exact words but to say absent from the body and present with the Lord. Please take care of yourself.

I'm sorry for the loss of your son i'm a parent myself and i can't imagine what your going through. you and your family will be in my prayers. ahgar

The service today was very well done and touched us deeply.
Thanks so much for your caring and support.
Thanks to family and friends we are 2/3 of the way to getting the sax for my sons school. They are pricey, run around $3500. Have not checked the Wells Fargo Memorial acct yet so maybe that will help reach our goal in the near future.

Will post some more pics of the service and of Scott.
My sister is putting together a memorial website to which all can contribute their thought and memories of Scott. Many of his former teachers and classmates attended the service which made it even more special.

Updates as they develop along with pics of some of the tributes people have done.

Hang in there Bob... He's waiting on you, with the Lord...
Life in the physical realm is just a blink of the eye, Blinker.
Prayers sent...every night for several days now...

Perhaps he will stop in Fiddler's green for a moment to play some music for the old cavalrymen there awaiting their turn.

May God Bless your family, Blinker. :(
