Thanks to all for your caring and support. Has been a tough few weeks to say the least. Wife and I are both getting professional help to get thru this and it is working slowly but surely.

We are putting together a Memorial website along with a real life "Warning Signs" Tutorial for parents and teachers alike. What to look for and suggestions on how to handle it.

Remember two things:
Denial (Not my Angel) Can Kill your Child!
Failure to take action Can Kill your Child!
You are the Parent
You are in Charge
 
I came upon this post late in the day it seems but please accept my sincerest condolences on you and Pam's loss. As both a father of a 3yr old boy and also as a young man who's wilder days are really not that far behind him this thread and your Ode to Scott really touched me. I hope that Scott's spirit rest's in peace and that you walk the path to healing your heartache knowing the well wishes of everyone here.
 
Real sorry to hear of your loss,man.Can only imagine your pain.I came close to losing my son a few months back and felt I was on the edge of a cliff where there was no going back and no hope.My prayers for you and yours.
