I'm very new to the forums, but have done lots of buying on the exchange. This is the only person Ive had issues with! I waited and waited for my knife that I used paypal to pay for and nothing. E-mailed and waited and waited. Got a response from his e-mail saying it was his wife and he had gotten into a bad car wreck, but she would personally see that the knife was sent. Waited and waited some more and guess what? Still no knife! I finally sent an email asking for a refund and still have not gotten a reply. All this time I'm checking to see if he is still visiting the forums and sure enough he is. As of this posting his last login was today. I have filed a dispute with paypal so hopefully something will be done about the issue. He has some other negative feedback, one even saying he never sent their knife. I should have gone with my gut and not purchased the knife.

I would consider myself a trusting individual and responded very nicely when whoever it was sent me an email about the seller possibly being in an accident. However, I do find it funny that the member is logging in daily and even posting things up for sale still when he has unfinished business already!

Just wanted to post this to hopefully get the seller's attention and to issue a buyer beware for Nevermind35.

Moved to Feedback, not quite Hall of Shame material at this point. That place is reserved for the lowest of the low and those with a long history of poor business practices. Nevermind35 has been sent a message, there a re a lot of people waiting on items. Until they start shipping, no more sales threads. If new sales threads pop up, infractions will be issued.
We can only hope the list of people owed items didn't use the gift option, because if they did, they are simply giving money away without an expectation of anything in return. Use Paypal as intended or deal with the consequences. Seems simple enough.
It's also a good idea to mot crap in a sales thread, regardless of the situation. It creates even more work for us in an already bleak situation. If you want a refund, contact Paypal and start a claim.

Thanks so much for the advice. Admittedly I did post in the for sale thread. I'll go clean that up now. Thanks again!

Already done. Someone has communicated to me that there is a list of people involved, and that communication is indeed flowing. If the items are not received in the next 5 business days, the offending account will be locked, we can't allow this predatory styled behavior to get a foothold. If some tragic event did happen, my heartfelt condolences, but honesty is the best policy. If help is needed, normally people tend to ask pride be damned.

I also purchased a knife from Nevermind35 (September 6) and still have not received it. On Sept. 8 I received the email from Ryan/Kristina (Nevermind35), same as others had stating that her husband was in an accident, and that she would ship me the knife. I replied and let her know my shipping address. After that I did not hear from them. I noticed that Nevermind35 had posted a few for sale threads since our last communication and became worried. I also received a PM from another member that he too had paid for a knife and not received it. Two days ago I sent an email asking whether the knife had shipped and got no response, so I filed a claim with Paypal. Now that the funds are on hold, Kristina took the time to email me back asking me to release the payment hold because she now couldn't afford to ship the knife. Yet in the same message, she claimed that the shipping label had already been processed and paid for and that the package "somehow fell under the seat of my passenger side bucket seat". Seems too convenient to me.

ZT blems don't have a serial number, they're marked with XXXX in the place of a serial number, right? The one pictured in the sales thread has a serial number...

That fell under the seat story seems to be making the rounds between the buyers. If money for shipping is tight, auto title loans will cover it, pay day loans, etc. ask family for some money, etc. there is always a way. The one thing we just don't want is for people to get ripped off so we are very vigilant when patterns emerge. We also can't have a situation where stealing from Peter to pay off Paul begins.

I really want to hope this guy is a piss poor communicator but not a thief.

It would be terribly sad to see a Gold Member flush his reputation down the toilet over a couple of knives.

But it does happen.............................................................Come on Nevermind 35 !!!!!!!

I recently bought a knife from nevermind35 and also was contacted by his wife who said he had been in a car wreck. Not good. Anyhow, I had to wait a few extra days after she said she would ship the knife but it did arrive. I admit I was a bit impatient with this transaction being that I've had several other recent transactions where I've been given the run-around, but s/he pulled through. I hope the others in this thread get what they paid for, or a refund instead.

ETA: This wasn't the first transaction I've had with nevermind35. Our first transaction went off without a hitch. Giving nevermind35 the benefit of the doubt, I would allow a few more days for the knives to arrive. He apparently has a lot of things going on at the moment.

I'm one of the other member's, involved in this situation.

I've been in contact with 3 other member's, & we all shared the same concerns regarding our transactions. Due to the circumstances, I personally, am willing to give, Ryan, & Kristina, the benefit of the doubt.

Kristina, did email me this evening, & told me she would get my package shipped out very soon (hopefully tomorrow), & provide me with the tracking information.

BTW- this is the first time, that I've opted to pay using the PP Gift option (I got that warm fuzzy feeling that RevDevil, often warns us about)... ;)

I'd like to make a request: if anyone is feeling compelled to make a comment in this thread, please be civil, & give this just a little more time, before jumping to conclusions. Hopefully, these knives will me mailed soon, & everything will work out.

Thank you.

Let's also keep in mind that he has good feedback as of recently. I agree with the idea that this should sit for a few days before any more negative comments are thrown towards nevermind35. I know that if something happened to me and my wife was tasked with selling my collection to pay for things it would be chaotic...that being said nobody here should be played for a fool.

Hope this works out

Not to be argumentative, but Nevermind35 has 2 Negative feedbacks in the last 3 months

For whatever it's worth, I've had extremely positive business and personal interactions with nevermind35 in the past. It's unfortunate to hear that him and his family are experiencing a lot of problems recently.

I can't say 100%, but my feeling is that the sell-off of his knives is desperation for money, and that his wife probably is not familiar with the way that online transactions on BF work - we really have a great deal of communication with one another. In situations like this (provided it is true), people are under a great deal of stress, and it's likely that the shipping of the knives is not the top priority.

With that being said, if you're going to take people's money in exchange for a product, you need to deliver in a reasonable time frame and communicate. Hopefully this all works out.

Guys, I don't know the circumstances of the goings on for this member or his wife. But as I mention before. If there was a health emergency, they have my full understanding and condolences for the accident. I wish nothing but the best for them. I appreciate that everyone has remained civil thus far and would appreciate it even more if we could continue.

Some of you know that we tend to be very forgiving and understanding and offer up chances for explanations, if help is needed we will go out of our way if possible to help folks. I'd like to see that this issue is resolved and that Ryan recovers completely. Kristina, if you need advice or help in how to handle things, all you need to do is ask, that is why we are all here. We simply want things to be fair across the board, no one will judge you for asking. Communication and honesty is at the very core of this community, and we try very hard to keep that above and beyond all else. So that being said, if you need anything ask away.
Thanks

Is it too early to as to post this guys contact info/address so us BF detectives can verify the accident.

You might want to try reading this again, & practice your comprehension skills this time:

And yes, it's way too early, & very tactless on your part, to even be asking this question. Unless you are an involved party, (had a transaction with Ryan or Kristina), I'm asking you politely: please bud out.

Thank you.

Update: I just received an email from Kristina, a few minutes ago, stating that she will be shipping out the knives later this afternoon.
