Nevermind35

Hi All - just wanted to inform that I received my knife from Ryan today. He also sent an email explaining that he had just gotten back from the hospital. Since the accident things have been quite chaotic for him and his family, and there had been some mis-communication with his wife, understandably so in such stressful times.

I now understand from his emails to me that he is a person of integrity and cares deeply about his reputation. This is my 2 cents in support of Ryan, and hope other people have had similar experience.

I had my moments of doubt during the past week, and didn't know what to think in absence of real information, but Ryan came through as soon as he was able to and explained the situation. For me - that is good enough.

I second this through and through, my knife arrived in good shape and I received an email explanation and apology from Ryan. In retrospect I hope we've all learned a thing or two from this incident. Under these extreme circumstances I think it's fair to give Ryan a pass, I would not hesitate to do business with him in the future.

Just like the 2 above member's; I too received my knife (yesterday), & have reached the same conclusion, regarding Ryan.

Thank you, Ryan, & Kristina. Wishing you a full recovery, & getting your lives back to normal, as soon as possible.

Edit: BTW- awesome Mini Skirmish, Ryan! Thanks!

Good Kelama, I'm glad to see that the Skirmish arrived safely. That was one of my favorite knives of all time! I know I always say that, as every knife that my wife or I sold was, at one point or another, the one knife that I most admired and was most excited about. However, that one was definitely a special one, I hope you enjoy it. I was always impressed in their sharpening job on that particular knife, it is super sharp. That recurve blade is an animal too! A lot of people don't like them because they are strange to sharpen at first, but once you get the sharpening down, they pull whatever you're cutting toward the blade and really just cut like crazy! I still have one knife with a recurved blade left, a Kershaw speed bump and I think I'll have to keep it forever now that the mini Skirmish is gone.

And thank you Kingmc, Gizmoman, and Palonej for the kind words and encouragement, it means a lot! Thanks everyone.

Well I am glad others have received their knives but it has been more than two weeks and no knife. I received an email from Ryan last week that my knife is in the mail and should be there in a couple of days. I have emailed him several times for an update and a tracking number and I haven't received a reply.

Update, Ryan emailed me this morning and he received the package back at his door today. He will be sending it to me and all is good.

 Awesome, buddy!

Let me know when your ZT Bayonet arrives, & what you think of it.

Ryan ship the package to himself?

LOL

Haha no, that would be even more mbarrassing of a mistake than what I did. There was a slight error in the destination address, so the postal service sent it back to me with a note. Sorry again about that Frank. That ZT-9 is a monster though, enjoy buddy!

Just some levity!!!

Matter of fact; In 2009 I sold a knife, and promised the buyer I would ship it out immediately. In my haste I addressed the knife to my son who lives 375 miles away. He shipped it back and I shipped it right out......................................addressed to me!!!

Was a very bad day!!!

Haha that's hilarious! Double trouble that day! Haha. Thats ok, I've made enough dumb mistakes in my life to make up for three or four lifetimes of a more astute individual. Lol.

Jbadjones, Please change the title of this thread. It appears that everyone has been made whole is it is underway. No need to wreck a good reputation over uncontrollable circumstances.

I believe I'm the most recent member of this forum to have difficulties with nevermind35.

I received quick responses from this member when it came to inquiring about one of this pieces. He also responded immediately when it came to receiving his money.

After that however, he was MIA. I tried to reach him daily by telephone and email. I left several messages, but as of today, there hasn't been any response.

I understand the issues he's going through but I'm feeling nervous about the transaction and I fear I won't receive the knife I purchased from him.

This thread gave me hope but I still haven't had any closure on this issue.

If anyone can reach out to me with suggestions on how to handle this I would be most appreciative.

Thank you all... Seth

Hello Cory...

The knife was the Elishewitz Anubis:

Elishewitz Anubis:Buttonlock/CPM154/Maple burl/Ti liners&bolsters *CHEAP*

I sent him the money on 10/31/15. I know that doesn't seem like a long time to wait but I made so many attempts to contact him and didn't receive any responses. While I may have been pre-mature with this post, I felt it was necessary.

I just became a member of the Blade Forum today so I was able to email Ryan through this forum and I'm happy to report that he finally responded to me!!!

He apologized and said the knife is one the way.

I will report back to the group once I've received it.

I'm hopeful this will all end positively.

Thank you again!

I am another purchaser of the knife, here is the link,

Below is the detail transaction of my interaction (or lack of) with nevermind35

I recently purchased a custom Elishewitz Anubis from nevermind35 on October 25th, and I am wondering if you can help me out with it. At the time of purchase, nevermind35 said that he prefer Paypal gift, but would accept Paypal goods. Being that it is for his medical bill, I decide to paid with Paypal goods, but I did add 3% to cover his fee. He told me it will be ship on Monday (October 26th) and will send me the tracking number. On October 28th, I still have not receive the tracking number, so I PM & email him again. He replied me that he have already ship it and will get me tracking number the next day. On October 30th, I send him another PM & email for my tracking number, but I have not heard from him since. I also PM & email him on November 1st, 3rd, and earlier today. I understand from his post that he was selling his knives to cover some medical bill and the last time he log in was October 31st. On November 5th, I contacted BF mod for help, he told me I should post on GBU and email Nevermind35 the link. I email & PM Nevermind35 again on November 6th that I will take action after the weekend. And today, I saw on another posting that Rydenjtg01 paid for the same knife I purchase. I am just glad I paid with Paypal goods. I hope other will notice this thread before doing any other business with Nevermind35.

Kenneth

Sorry for checking in so late...

I sent Nevermind35 a Blade Forum PM today and received an email back immediately... Here is what it read:

=============================
Seth,
Hello there. I see that you've been trying to get ahold of me, I'm sorry to have missed your correspondence. Now it makes sense, I kept getting calls from a California number and was sure that it was some salesman, so I never picked up. Sorry that it took a bit longer than expected, it's really hard getting somebody to get to the post office for me. However, I was able to get it out yesterday evening thank god, as soon as my wife gets home I'll send you the tracking number. Thanks.
~Ryan

I was so relieved to get this email. Then I saw this post and now I don't know what to think.

It seems so risky to ruin your name like this.

Kenneth... I will reach out to you so we can discuss the situation.

Very disturbing news indeed!

BTW... I turned on my email option so feel free to contact me.

Seth
