Sorry to be a negative nancy but I am still unhappy with the lack of variety in the handle materials on this big 14 run, but on the plus side, in the time since it was announced we have seen a few short runs and more interesting knives, such as those made for the rendezvous - long may this continue!

Yeah, you would struggle to collect em all! I am sticking to one or two.
My comment re variety comes down to the types of material used and whether they are original and interesting (noting, its nothing to do with how nice they look as they definitely look good!). As I said above I was really pleased to see the rendezvous knives, as they gave me some renewed hope that GEC knives weren’t going to start being too generic with higher volume production.

There were only 14 variations in the previous run of 14's (including the barlows and SFO's). I'm sure that there are some folks that won't be satisfied that their favorite material was not included, but that's a lot of choices.
That is what I'm hoping for as well!I guess the two bladed versions will be started after the singles? Maybe if everyone blows their budgets on these singles as they are released, I can pick up a few clip/pens from the end of the run.

My hunch...is that the 1 or 2-blade GEC standard production runs will be readily available when that time comes (likely the end of the whole run). The DLT Northfield SFOs are the only other 2-blades I think. And like you said...hopefully everyone will be tapped out by that timeI guess the two bladed versions will be started after the singles? Exactly! There's stag, multiple micartas, a few different acrylics, multiple woods, and bone in every color one could want aside from blue.

I would have made the shield a little smaller, otherwise it looks perfect. I like that we have the choice of this one in Black Micarta or the Kifer SFO in African Blackwood if we prefer wood.

I like the looks of that GPK SFO. Might be my backup if I miss out on a Dead Skunk.
Yes, at first I thought the blade was on the outside of that one! Kidding, somewhat, but it really seems disproportionately large to me. Knife looks nice otherwise.
