These just arrived today, serial numbers #006 for the 119 and #012 for the 110. Just some quick photos for now. Both came very sharp and well finished. The fullers on the 119 look different than others I've seen. I'm very pleased with these.

Thanks for posting these. It's nice to see what they look like.
I wasn't sure off the photos posted by the seller.

I didn't order a 119, but I have one each of the 110s coming.
My shipping label was just posted today, so it will probably late next week before they come in.

Looking forward to them!

Hmmmm. The 110 in 5160 is interesting, but the 119 really has my attention. I may just have to pick me up one of those . . .

Just got back from family dinner out and had a chance to check them out a little better. The 110 blade isn't centered but it's not rubbing so not an issue for me. Lockup is completely solid with no play at all. The 119 feels heavier than my standard 119 from a few years back. I haven't weighed anything but I'm guessing the brass on this version weighs more which would seem to make sense.

Both came with black leather sheaths and paperwork commenting on the 5160 steel and it's care. Really glad I got these especially at what I feel was a very reasonable price.

Thanks for the pics. If anyone has more pics or maybe a pic of the charcoal version I'd love to see it.

I'll try and get some decent outdoor photos this weekend. These were just some quick pics as we were leaving for dinner. Wonder how many were or will be made? Obviously there could be 999 given the way they are serialized. Didn't think about it at the time but with such low numbers on mine I should have tried to request #110 & #119 for the corresponding knife.

Thank you for posting the pictures. I believe it was stated that only the first 100 would be serialized. That implies the total number will be sales dependent.

Thanks for posting. Now I will have to place my order. I just noticed stag 110's as well by the same seller.

Help me out. 5160? Isnt this a nonstainless steel or am I confused? If so that would just make an awesome 119. Are these regular production or a limited custom.

Yes, carbon steel. These two were ordered from Buck by a vendor so I guess they are a limited or special run.

I see lots of posts down here on these 5160 blades, but no one is saying where to get them.

Spread the buck love, give us a link.

Duane,

You can't talk "directly" about sellers or prices, unless they belong to BladeForums and have a 'Dealers' or Manufactures membership. Thanks 88 for pointing the way.

Perhaps a glance at the Blade Forums rules page will benefit your questions.

This thread has been handled well and I praise everyone for their efforts and control.

All I have is an ancient, single beam postage scale so I can't get too nitty gritty but compared to my 2010, standard production 119 at 7.5oz this model with 5160 steel comes in at 10.5oz. As I posted earlier, I presume this is mostly due to the brass construction of the 5160 model. I haven't miked either but the overall widths and thicknesses look very similar. Might the 5160steel weigh more than 420HC? Without a brass model in that steel I can't say but I doubt the weight of the blades would amount to much.

If anyone can get some more accurate weights I would love for you to post them. TIA

The brass version will be heavier then the aluminium one. The aluminium version weights 7.5 ounces from bucks website and the brass one is much heavier. I have brass 120 and 105 and they have much more weight to them then the aluminium ones.
