I like some of it. I have sold a lot of knives with it to Women. They seem to like it.

Now that you mention it, it’s almost always women who like it. Never. Thought of that before.

Perhaps the Pakistani knives look like MINE?
The Pakis use other common handle materials, too.
Dymondwood is stable, fairly hard-but easy to work, attractive if used properly, and relatively inexpensive.
Does this gun look like it was made in Pakistan?

I think those are the standard grips on the Springfield, which are either walnut, or cocobolo depending on the model...

The "cocobolo" is laminated wood- just like Dymondwood. Look at it closely.
Cocobolo looks nothing like that. Almost all the "wood" grips on new guns are made of laminated wood.
I understand they are sold as cocobolo-but they aren't.

I used a lot of diamond wood many years ago. People loved the camo, but cocobolo was my fav. Have seen a lot of gun grips that looked just like laminated cocobolo
