I just went on a ruck run before work, uh yeah I think I could have refilled my camelbak with sweat by the time I finished. It was only 5 miles too! Nice n' hot....

Gotta stay somewhat fit man, between work 7days and dealing with my new daughter my body's going to Hell along with my nutrition.

never have understood the running thing.. my brother used to run la marathons and all that jazz I don't get it.. Now at one time in my life I used to be into weight lifting...

my body's been shot for the last 10 yrs, I used to attribute it to marriage but I'm just a lazy slob nowadays... maybe its an age thing, or , or .......
 
Lol, yeah "only" it's all in town running. I stayedat my gf's last night and she lives in town. I hate running actually, but that's why I run with a ruck, to make it feel more like a fast hike. I do more of a recon shuffle really.

This is why I am overweight. I lead a very active lifestyle, but kids SLOW you down, man, they slow you down. At one point in my life, I remember being 195lbs, 8% body fat, and a rock climbing junky.

I grunt and groan just CLIMBING outta bed now. It ain't the years, ya'll, its the miles.

I hike my ass up the mountains during the hottest part of the day, keeps me in good shape and conditioned for hot weather...........LOVE IT


The other thing is when all my friends and family are complaining about how hot it is I feel just fine, I also hydrate like a SOB everyday

Unfortunately there aren't any mountains in S. Indiana, but I do have the knobstone trail. People use it to train for the Appalachian Trail. It's a good trail, like 58a miles long, but it's the best we have. I'm with ya on the heat not being a big deal, but I still sweat buckets. I need to figure this chat thing out, I guess.
 
I ordered a custom from BRT Bladeworks last week, so I'm pretty excited about that. I also just got an ESEE5 off the exchange early last week.

Wow, I missed that post tw. That's a cool little hatchet. What's something like that go for? Fits perfect on that Lunada. My generic sling bag is a Lunada rip off, so the same size. Wouldn't mind getting a little hatchet for it.
