Good thought. I'll look into slips. Maybe I need a belt holster. Since I work in an office I wear a lot of chinos and slacks, which don't have the fob pockets. 'Course, I could just go back to my phat bob...

So I decided last night to give my local Kabar dealer another shot, and see what they had and maybe get a birthday knife. Well I go there and they have a bk7 in the case so I wait patiently while the clerk is sharpening another customers benchmade grip and I can't help but overhear his advice to the customer (while he is pressing way to hard on a diamond stone) about knives. The guy is claiming he got hired bcuz of his knife knowledge, and proceeds to explain about how 154cm and d2 are the same thing, why benchmades are better than crk's, that aus8 is impossible to rust, and various other knife science info. Then he comes to me and I say "I wanna see that bk7" and he says "the Benchmade fixed?" And I reply "no the Becker" and point to it. The price tag was a whopping $100 plus tax! Then he says if I wanna spend a little more he recommends the buck hoodlum at $275. Wtf! I told him absolutely not, and between me and him he needs to get himself on BF and get a little more education. And this guy calls himself an expert....
 
You shoulda stabbed him with one of each, then screamed at him "CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE MEOW!?!"
 
O and also when the other customers girlfriend asked why the Benchmade boxes were different colors,.the clerk replied "oh just different models but all the same stuff" I just felt like screaming at him
 
So needless to say my first time fondling the bk7 was kinda like the first time I fondled myself, I was frustrated, uncomfortable, and left unsatisfied.
 
No snakes were harmed in the taking of my picture. Kid1 let him go at the end of the weekend; we even drove him back to the pond where we got him.

We did eat the 2' pike she caught, though. Cleaned him with my BK11.

Is there a place to buy just the kydex insert for a spec ops sheath? I wanna put it in my gen 1 esee 5 sheath
