Well last night I went to go visit my parents. Today, while I had some plans, I am just going to sit around doing nothing. So far that is going pretty good for me. :D

A similar thing happened to me with a Tops fireman's axe. I put in an order at around $50, and they contacted me in a couple of days. They weren't a stocking dealer so they had to buy it before they shipped it to me. Needless to say, I didn't get the axe.

Vinegar bath for the 10. I set it up on thumb tacks. I got the idea from oso_blanko on the ride to Beckerwest.
The 9 got wrapped in vinegar soaked paper towels.
I'll have to get better pix of 'em some time.

Did anyone videotape the chopping competition from the gathering? I just wanna see the free for all chopping at the end.

so my new belt sand has turned all my blades into lazers!! Lol, I've never had knives this sharp, I love it!! I could shave my face with my trail hawk. I dont have a stone, but the belt portion from the jerry fisk videos have been uber helpful!!!

I know i love my belt sander, but i also rediscovered the stone and how, for lack of a better work, zen it is. Swiping on a stone is really relaxing for me.

My garage is so full of shit from my parents house that I can't get to my belt sander and I refuse to break in my new work sharp on this piece of crap cold steel kukri machete. Thing is dull as a butter knife brand new and has a smashed tip. Sitting here the proud owner of power tools and sawing away at the blade with a hand file. What's wrong with this picture?

Getting ready to pop open a few beers with the BK 11 and watch the Chiefs lose again......

Put a mustard patina on my Mora MG today. Was bored. Put the first coat on with a Q-tip, waited 30 minutes, cleaned it off, and added a second coat with a brush for 30 minutes. Turned out okay I guess:
