I wear Duluth 5 pocket firehose. I beat the Hell out of them and they're great!

hey, 1066vik, or was it hatcreekk9sar what were those fantastic pants? Duluth Trading Company? Firehose pants? Cast Iron Twills? Other? bad brain!

PANTS!

great outdoor pants! what do you guys like? i just got some nice "technical" hoodies, and am looking for pants... esp for Winter (snowboarding, skiing)...

but in general, good, rugged, last forever stuff for outdoors...

Carhartt comes to mind, but falls short in the cargo pocket area

Wrangler Riggs are very nice, and give good value, esp compared to say Hagloffs Fjells...

(what's with all these doubled last consonants? :>)

Arbor Wear is rocking too...

I was wearing the Duluth Trading Fire Hose Work pants -- the ones with a warranty that says if you can wear a hole in them, send them back and get a new pair free. They also do a lined version.

for winter wear, then make a waterproof insulated version out of some supposedly super tough nylon. (Whaleback pants)

thanks :)

repels "stains" - bonus - hey flexxxxxxxxx :)

sriracha + bitters + rangpur gin cocktail == strange 1080 video :) hee.

just sayin'

Gonna need me a Bush baby(Thanks Trade!) and some more bottle carriers before spring. Oh, and I'll hafta convince the ol lady she needs a hammock so that I can enjoy mine.

get a double wide and enjoy it together?
heh.
as for bottle carriers - I'm pretty happy with my Condor 10x4 (also sold under the name mod gear at CTD)

bottle opener.

feh :)

a rock by any other name

or at least a handy 2x4

I liked the Condor Moose had, but can only find them in 10x4. I'd like two 10x4's(Condor's fine) and a larger size for my Jetboil and cook kit. As for a hammock, do they make one that supports two people? 350-400lbs. weight limit is good.

The two 10x4's are for my water bottles, the larger would be for my jetboil/brew kit.

the hennesssey safari hammock is "good" for 350 lbs, but you have to be "quite friendly"... and no warranty past 350 lbs...

there are other systems, and methods, like a good mayan style family hammock and an eagle's nest mosquito netting... might work...

Day 5 of no drinking. Good thing I'm spending the weekend in the forest cause I can't imagine I'm much fun to be around right now. *grumble*

What's everyone doing this weekend and which blades are you taking with you?

It's carcamping with the fam at Lynx Lake, Prescott AZ, for me. Cutlass and ***-3 are coming with me (haven't used the *** yet so this will be my first chance). Kids'll have their Remoras. High of 77F and low of 45.... after this late and hot summer those temps will be heaven.

Have fun, be safe, take pics.

Getting ready to go to the lumber yard. Have to pick up some wood to fix the window trim, buy some paint to paint it when finished. Then, rake up all the freakin' black walnuts in the back yard. Yay.

You're still working on those windows? I thought you finished them a while ago......
