New Benchmade 111H2O: A big ol' pile of fail.

I see less of "fanboys" bashing Benchmade than I do "fanboys" defending a broken product. Any company will eventually let some bad ones slip out. This guy got one, and he's being straightforward about it.

I think it's funny that the OP had some valid criticism of his new knife but a lot of responses thought that meant Benchmade's quality control was poor. Over-generalize, anyone?

I recently picked up the 111H2O myself. It's a gem. Really beautifully done, excellent fit, finish, and function. Strangely enough, the edge looks like the OP's but it cuts like a razor.

I don't know what the yellow looks like in deep water, but under ultraviolet, it glows.
 
yeah, there's just about nothing that i like in that design. On the other hand, i'm all for removing the bible crap from anything and everything you possible can, so :thumbup: for Trijicon
