New Benchmade Catalog on line (2009)

The Lum with the M4 blade is the only cool knife in that catalog.

So for the 4th year in a row (in my opinion) Benchmade has underdone themselves. :)

I'm a bit disappointed...for now I think I'll stick with a Rukus, a Skirmish, an RSK Mk1, and a 710 and go shopping for Spydercos. :D
 
i like that 580 barrage, its handle is similar to the linerless 780 that only a few hundred were made.thats the only one ill get this year.....
 
Actually, I quite like the lineup myself. Not a fan of spring assists, but it was a good move on their parts to include them in their lineup. Nothing mindblowing, but lots of really quite decent items that have the potential to become staples.
 
Not to bad IMO. I found a few that I want. Better get the 630 Skirmish while you still can before prices go up. The M4 will be sought after.

Those three knives are, in fact, the only ones that capture my eye :D
I don't need another fixed blade, so maybe I give a try to de Lum or de Orange Grip. . .

Well, as I just started down the Benchmade path, with 3 Grips and 2 more on the way, pretty much everything in the catalog looks good to me.
 
Add 3 to the wish list. Kulgara, Barrage, Rift, Aphid, Nakura. I'd like a Morpho too, but they are too pricey for me.
 
I'm definitely getting a 760, that knife does just about everything right. Hopefully they don't force the retailers to charge too much money for it.
