Benchmade 2009,
Ho-hummmm
.
Like the last couple of years, I am less than impressed with the new years offerings.
And, like the last couple of years, I am going to buy a couple of Benchmades older models. I picked up a 210TK Snody fixed blade and a 610 Rukus last year. Both are great knives and a lot more interesting than anything they have offered lately.
This year I am going to finally buy a couple of Bradley Cutlery offerings. (Hey, Benchmade manufactures them so they count dont they?)
An Alias 1 and a Mayhem will be my choices this year. I like the Alias design better than Sebbies anyway and the Skirmish never impressed me but it was at least very cool looking. The new 760 isnt even eye candy like the Skirmish was. The tanto blade is the last blade shape I would choose and as far as M4 steel goes, I prefer stainless in a folder so that isnt gonna get me to buy one either.
I really wish Benchmade would have offered another Gentlemens folder like the 770 Osborne, THAT I would buy. Axis still rocks and there are still no small classy gents folders in Benchmades lineup since they dropped the 770.
Bradley here I come!
