New BK10s

I thought they were supposed to be released the 15th of this month, last I heard. Obviously, that's a no go.
 
I've been wondering myself since the 15th,
but I did'nt want to bring it up and put a jinx
on anything!
 
I read some where, I am sure Toooj said the sheaths were held up in customs,
here is a quote from today on the Kabar ask Toooj thread,

That was the excuse last year with the Machaxes........Ka-Bar sure does have lots of trouble with the boats from China lol
 
I've been away for far too long. I had no idea the BK-10's were coming back, and now their time is upon us! :cool: I'm looking forward to this.
 
I had called Ka-bar the other day, they responded with this email:

Is the BK10 like the one I got from some Knife Shop and there was only 6 of them made with that funky Maroon Handle and the Knife has a high polish on it and the man that was doing them got tired of making them up and quit.?? Seems like a bummer to me.! Course all I do with it is see it when I open that Safe and the other Beckers are in the other Safe in the Den as I did not want them to rub off of each other.!** lol

i got 200 of the s30v ones, and the first 1000 with toooj's blood quenching from the unworthy...

the D2 ones only numbered in the few dozens. one dozen for each mod :D

the stellite ones? well, they made 1 and it broke production so bad, those other 8000 you have might have little imperfections on them, they had to retool after that

for some reason, none left the factory that weren't spoken for.
 
Yeah, I had emailed with Tomar's too... they said the last update they had was the 15th... so no new ETA yet.
 
just remember, if a vendor gives you a date, and it slips, blame doesn't roll up hill :D

if the uphill guys gave you a date, they meant "roughly" ;)

none of that stuff is carved in stone
 
Cool news. I'm excited to strip, de-ramp, maybe sharpen the swedge, and put some micarta or ranger green TKC G10 on it. Then some sort of sheath. Also I need a ford raptor to carry it around in.
