glad you got a sutiable bk16 things do tend too work out here well. and remember this is a great community here no need too hate or get on someone's case, if a knife aint right let kabar and or the seller know things usually get fixed around here that's why I love kabar and beckers great quality and good customer service!! that and I'm a becker head stalker lmao!!

KaBar Beckers are not only mass produced, but non cnc'ed... they are sharpened by hand. right? you'll get variations.
now picture generally how many knives they makes, and the relative perfection therein. sure, there's a couple goof balls...
but seriously, 99% of you sharpen those knives ANYWAY before you even use them. no big deal imho.
i'll also point out for the benefit of those who like the "slander and edit" tactic: the mods can see your edits. each, and every one. so can Ethan.
hopefully, Ethan doesn't see this thread. he'd be mighty disappointed in some of you.
just saying: had i been paying attention, and had not Guyon handled this more gently, some of you might be on another forum whining about my response.

Instead of saying "those of you", can you please type the peoples names. If noone knows who you're talking about, you alienate everyone in the thread...... This makes people uncomfortable and some will actually stop visiting this forum.
When it comes to my hard earned money, ill be as picky as i want. If i don't get the product i just paid for, ill return it repeatedly until i do.

Fwiw, I'm 99% sure he's not talking about you. If you read the whole thread you can go back and see who has changed their posts. I specifically remember someone who badmouthed the knives pretty badly and perhaps put his foot in his mouth...... Now all his posts have been changed to different comments.

Basically, this.
There are those that know who they are. They apparently are not happy with the products anymore, and as part of the process that we've seen time and time again, feel they must bad mouth it before leaving us, or at least, get it out of their system in a public show. They hide behind edits and other antics and generally get called on that. As well, we then see they attempt to go back and change every post they've ever made to, sometimes even to "... ... ..." and then do something on purpose to get banned, then complain bittery in another forum, where they get banned there. Eventually they run out of forums, and go on a trip to Alaska or something.
If you feel that I might be talking about you, and you've never been personally called on something in a PM, email, or other comment, it's probably not about you. Esp if you've been here a relatively short time. Now, if you HAVE been acting naughty, and feel guilty about something, I can't really help there unless you confess your sins, and then maybe we can move on. Confess!
But yes, many knives from KaBar will not have CNC perfection. Some will. Most of mine are perfect out of the box. If you feel you have an esp bad one, KaBar usually fixes things. They have a very good warranty. Sometimes they make human mistakes as well. Which is rare, and sucks, but there we go. If you demand PERFECTION, that's why they have high end knives these days made from exotic materials and polish with single use strops of baby bottoms and angel's tears. Course, you'd never want to use a knife like that. KaBar want to be used. Well, mostly

Oh definately(sp) not me then. I dont own a becker yet but im planning on ordering my bk16 on the 17th of this month so it'll have plenty of time to get here for my birthday.
This month is going WAY too slow....
