New book “The Story of Knife Steel” by Dr. Larrin Thomas

I failed to mention something. I sort of implied it, but I don’t think I was clear enough.

This book is 500 pages.

You could take any five chapters of this and comprise a ‘book’, by most standards.

That looks very comprehensive. Which isn't surprising given the author. Thanks for sharing.

Before I’m criticized for being a shill for a friend, I would ask those of you willing to level such a criticism against me to ASK my friends just how gentle I am with them. 🤣
If anyone in this community deserves to be shilled for its Larrin....we all owe him a great deal like it or not for the work he has done. I bought Knife Engineering and will certainly be purchasing this when its out.

I’m hoping people will report back with their thoughts here after they’ve received a copy and perused it.

Nice work there and Matt, I know you are fastidious so you were probably poring over that proofreading until it drove you mad(der?)

Whenever I wrote papers for school I would read through it multiple times and make corrections before printing it out. Then while turning it in I would look at the first paragraph and immediately find a typo. Now magnify that by a 500 page book and these are the things nightmares are made of. There must be a couple typos in there somewhere.

It can drive you mad. Having functioned as a copy editor among other responsibilities, I came to hate my Chicago Manual of Style. LOL.
