maybe one side g10, other side frame lock? or g10 over a frame lock, which most would call a liner lock.....Says Framelock but also G10 scales. Liner lock?
Original spec which I would think would be real similar.I noticed it says it is 5 inch closed but only a 3.25 inch blade. I wonder if that’s a misprint or a long handle? At 5 inches you’d think it would have at least a 3.75 blade similar to a 110.
^these dimensions are far more appealing to me than the 3.25 blade and 5 handleOriginal spec which I would think would be real similar.

that one is perfect, we need that one in production in its size, maybe a cheaper steel instead of the damasteel to keep price better. wouldn't complain about that.Next to Vantage for size reference.View attachment 1562348View attachment 1562349View attachment 1562350
I hope the specs are close to the original size. Im excited to see a 040 Onset in material I would be worry free to carrythat one is perfect, we need that one in production in its size, maybe a cheaper steel instead of the damasteel to keep price better. wouldn't complain about that.
Well yes. Not cheap but not 350.00 and up. Right in line with Para 2. Osborne etc pricing. Not afraid to use it pricingAt $155 that's pretty high dollar for the work'n man.
Could be a marketing decision. buck doesn't have too many flat grind knives vs other manufacturers. I don't really have a preference on a folding knife. On a camp knife I prefer flat.I wonder why they went with the full flat grind on these ? I thought the hollow grind that is on many Buck knives gives it even better performance than a flat grind.
