New Burt Foster project - integral wide blade dagger

I had to come out of seclusion just to say how much I love this knife, if I were looking to get a dagger, it would look just like this, what a project and result, congratulations!!! Burt must have spent some time talking with Don Fogg, their Hamons are very similar and absolutely spectacular. :eek: :thumbup: :)
 
One the best knives ever posted to this forum in my opinion and I am not a "dagger" guy. Everything works on that knife.

i know at first hand that the jasper masters racked their brains over an intricate hardening line burt put on some blades recently... not that they weren't able to solve the mystery, but it took some time, as far as i know! :)

What a TREAT. I missed the original post so I got to see the knife from start to finish. Superb work.
 
WOW!!!! just the forgeing is Great!! JUST WOW!! I bet there are only a handfull Of bladesmiths that could have pulled that off.
