I understand they're supposed to be re-released fairly soon. Early '13 maybe? I've seen them talked about... so I'm not in a hurry to spend the current prices on them.
Definitely will be picking one up as soon as they hit KABAR production though! Until then, the 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 16, and 17 leave little to be desired...(except for micarta on the tweeners, of course!)
Murphnuge said:I've never heard anything about the 10 going back into production. It seems the LE BK10's didn't move fast enough.
Toooj said:Yes. Stay tuned. The The small BeckerHead run of special 10s went well enough that KA-BAR will be putting it in the line. Sooner rather than later.

I hear that. I lucked out on this one. Perhaps he was making biscuits...I'm curious how that set of scales got past Guyon. Must have been busy that day and overlooked them somehow.
Haha. It freaks me out how comfortable they are. I sure didn't expect that. Plus, they have grip. Perhaps not as good for chopping, but damn, the purchase I can get is damn near perfect. At least for my hands they are.Man, what a score! I've been in the hunt for the flat scales for a while, but they usually come with a knife attached.
damn, first I have heard of that....when did he post this?
Thanks. I wish they still sold this type of micarta scales. I like the way these feel way better than the other micarta. But, use wise, perhaps the others are more comfortable. Not sure.I asked him in the ask Toooj thread...
Awesome find Dubz! Man, I wish Ka-Bar could come out with a set of Cami style micarta...Even for a LE release. 30 years of Beckers or something.
I traded off my BK10LE. Couldn't make myself use it. Was told about this deal, and jumped all over it. I got it from Andy Roy. This thing is probably the sharpest knife I own.
Thanks. The Becker Blade Database is your friend: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...s-Knife-Specs-and-Data)?p=8961810#post8961810That thing is damn sick...its like a Bk2,7 and 9 had an orgy...is that the same 1095cv?
