Congrats on that sweet looking 10 Dubz!
Loving the old style micarta.
Alot of folks say the 7 is the best "all around" Becker. I think the 10 would probably fill that role for me.
I love the overall design and size of the 10. Cool blade. Lucky...

I didn't like the old micarta as much as the new. The boxy shape and jigging just didn't feel as comfortable as the newstuff. At least not for my bear-like paw. I sold it off.

As for the ageless 10 vs 7 dilemma, I still struggle with the choice. I have both in cami version and the 10 is sharper and easy to carry, but the 7 has extra length and is still remarkably nimble. Good decision to have and I've had these knives for a decade

I have a user set of the old micarta and I'm not to fond of it. I find it rubs hot spots on my hand with heavy use.

I was wondering that myself. Feels good in my hand, but I was curious about actual use.

Don't like it anywhere near as much as the contoured ka bar stuff. I've got pretty good sized hands and I still like the contoured ones far better. I'll never get rid of my one set of the old ones though.
