Yes... 2012 would be a great year for the KhukRat. Full flat grind... res-c... 12-14" kukri... would be sweet. I'm still in for one, maybe two!

Ugh... not even close to what I would buy. No choking up option and way too long of a whatever that railroad spike is supposed to be in front of the handle. I could see a full hand guard from front to back of the handle being useful, but that just seems weird, best guess is it looks like it is supposed to keep the knuckles from hitting the ground?

I'd be down for one. How would one sharpen an SR-101 recurve in the field? It seems like a tough thing to do without a pretty aggressive sharpening medium.
