you know this kinda reminds me of a scene in Reservoir Dogs:

Mr. Pink: Why can't we pick our own colors?

Joe: No way...no way. Tried it once it doesn't work. You get 4 guys all fighting over who gets to be Mr. Black. But they don't know each other, so nobody wants to back down.

I know nobody's backing down, so let's leave this at "to each his own".

Ya know I had no ill will towards you dude. But if you wanna make an enemy out of me, go right the phuck ahead

This reminds me of a post a while back where alot of flaming was done by EDGE1. He later said it was his kid brother had gotten a hold of his username/password. Wonder if this is the same circumstances.Everyone just needs to calm down and remember we are all individuals with different views. Whatever one choose to carry and use is their business.

I am going to practice now I think you guys should do the same, instead of sitting yer fat asses behind the computer talking! It only is part of it you do have to sweat some even though you probabbly are sweatting now eating a twinkie or somthing

Haha, Yeah I was going to bring this up earlier in the conversation but decided not to.. I did indeed post that this is the most mature forum I've been involved with. That was about a day before this thread came up. To follow up on that, I'd have to say that EDGE1 has to be the most immature person I've seen on here. Most of your posts have been riddled with pretty dumb remarks about other members. I guess atleast you're a little more mature than most trolls hehe.

Plastic on firearms are about as good as tits on a bull? I like my ar-15, complete with plastic parts. Same with my mossberg 590 with composite stock. Glocks are good too. So are -some- Berettas...

And I only speak the truth you boys need much more practice from what I read on hear you will all have promblems out in the real world!
Good Luck!
Peace!

You know I thought your first post on this topic was good compared to Scott Dog, which is why I responded in a civil manner. But now I see you're a little BlTCH. Phuckin fairy!

I'm sure the Sayocs are pleased with his performance. The Sayocs are good people, I know people that know them. I cannot believe this guy is involved with them. It might very well be his younger Brother.

Ummm... back to plastic parts? CD, I understand composite stocks, grips and the like, but a composite FRAME? I dunno, man - steel slide + "plastic" frame + REAL hot bullets seems to equal disater to me. I know, I know, Glocks are proven in the field, have been around a long time now, and everyone who has one loves it - I give!

Just doesn't feel right to me... I'd hate to have something snap/melt, and end up eating my slide, ya know?

Chris

Metal slide contacts metal inserts in plastic frame, nothing melts, nothing snaps.

Polymer frame absorbs more recoil even though lighter in weight.

Polymer frame never has stress cracks like other weapons, Polymer flexes with recoil.

Baltimore County P.D. has a whole wheelbarrow full of SIG P-226s that have cracked frames. And those guys don't practice that much.

GUYS!!

Jesus, Ya'll want to see who's . . . knife is bigger, take it off line!

A word to everyone, please remember that there are trolls out there that enjoy nothing more then causing hate and discontent. Any twelve year old using his Mom's computer can be an expert.

Fan the flames and it just gets bigger.

Don, find out from Jerry where the Tex/Mex place is and dinners on. We should get the "Usuals" together.

I realize that I made the mistake of losing my cool in a public forum. I did however suggest we take this elsewhere (although a little late). So I apologize for my language as I know it wasn't appropriate here.

EDGE1

My opinions of you have not changed, and my offer still stands.

Hey Chris, here's a Glock story for ya! This actually happened to me out in the field:

A buddy and I were running through some drills with our Glocks out in the woods. We had been at it for several hours and were wearing serious ear protection. We were both using "remanufactured" ammo purchased from a Gun Show dealer, who both of us had bought from in the past (can you see where this is going?). We were doing some "move and cover" drills when I had (what I thought was) a stoppage. I did the usual "tap, rack, bang" stoppage drill and boy, did it go BANG! When the smoke cleared I was left holding my Glock 19 with the slide firmly locked open. And I do mean LOCKED OPEN! I started looking closer, and saw the "stoppage" I had was actually a round that somehow didn't get any powder. The primer was enough to lodge the bullet into the barrel of the gun. When I did my stoppage drill I didn't even think twice about squeezing the trigger again, and the NEXT round hit the bullet lodged in the barrel. This situation normally means a blown up gun and serious personal injury in most cases. Thanks to the superior materials and manufacturing of my Glock, not only was I spared injury, but with a new barrel, my gun now functions as good or better than it did originally. The only damage found on the Glock was a swelled barrel where the squib round got stuck. If a "plastic gun" was going to fall apart or break, I think it would happen under those circumstances!
