OK, so everyone wanted to know what the new Composite Leek and JYD II will look like. Here they are!

Happy New Year!

OMFG that composite JYD2 is BADASS! I sold the original after modding it, I may have to get me one of these though. Suh-WEET!

Thanks for the pics. It looks as if the JYD II will have the same pattern
on every blade while the Leek will vary. ??

Nice pricing too! :D

Thanks for the pics. I am glad the new composite blades won't be on super high end handles. I gotta have 'em so a break for my wallet will be nice. I guess the intention was to get a high end cutting edge on a reasonably priced knife all along. Kershaw, nice job as usual.

Oh. Dang. That is nice! I see the MSRP, around where should they fall at the pharmacy?

First quarter release or later?

Great job on this, I think (know) one of them will be my entry into composite steel!

Those are some nice looking variations to those knives I cant wait till they are released I am going to pick a couple up for sure :)

I really like the look of the composite blades it adds a whole new dimension to the knife usually the handle color or material was the center of attention now it wont be until you open up the blade.

Thanks for sharing the photos with us

I think I understand why you are thinking what you are thinking, but I' m pretty sure what you are thinking is incorrect. I think that you are confusing the irregular pattern of the Leek for something that is randomly and uniquely cut. :)

I'm relatively sure that that whole run of Leeks will have that same pattern.

I keep saying I'm not gonna collect Leeks, and I keep finding myself saying I've gotta get the next one!

I'm starting to consider buying another TiSG2 JYD to frankenstein the composite blade into.

Hey KneeDeep,

I was thinking of doing the same exact thing as soon as I saw this composite blade. I am unsure if I will buy another one but I already have one here ready & waiting : )

....................................................................................................................................................................good buy money

Ummmm.......this is BAD. I mean REALLY bad. I already spent ALL the Christmas money that my wife's grandma gave me. I mean ALL of it. Sure, I've got some nice knives coming, but c'mon, nothing like this!!!

Does New Grahamn do returns?????;)

Very nice lookin' kershaws

Well, Kershaw continue to keep too much stress on me... I was only few weeks ago get rid of fear not to have JYDII SG2/Ti right after I had phobia to miss Tyrade... And now two more!

But why CPM D2? Why not CPM 10V or CPM M4 Rex or CPM S90V or even CPM S125V - with composite blade grinding should not be an issue.

Thanks, Vassili.

No lanyard hole for JYD II again?

You think so? haha

I was just wondering since it doesn't have a pattern anywhere near the JYDII.
I love the way it looks, but it just doesn't looks as if it was drawn on paper like
the JYDII or Tyrade. See what I mean?

Vassili, what's wrong with D2 ?

I think my brain hurt after typing that.

The Leek does look more random and doodled than the others, but I'm pretty sure that the Wire EDM doesn't have a random doodle mode. :D

Can you imagine how hard it would be to get two pieces that would fit together? ;)

Vassili makes a good point about the lanyard hole. It would be nice to have.
