new condor PICTURES!!!!

I looked at a few classic barongs and found them to vary quite a bit from 1/4 tapered all the way to 1/8 tapered. I figured this could be a barong machete, light enough for quick martial arts. I talked with several Kali practitioners about it and they wanted a quick version. If there is a high demand for a huge thick version, they'll make it later. Thanks for the input

The two barongs that I own are both made of at least 1/4" stock.

With a mean taper I bet! If the lite barong is popular, we can go to a fancy wood stock heavy one. In the mean time, check your PMs.

I just noticed that the carbon steel machete models come in 1/8" blade stock. Nice. My stainless Outback is much thinner than that. Any idea on when the sheaths will be available for the carbon steel Bolo and El Salvador...and the Golok too? Thanks. I'll be taking at least one of these with me when I go to Belize in October. It will be a resort, but I'll find a way to get out into the forest/jungle! :D

El Salvador in Micarta! Damn, should have waited :grumpy::D

Great looking stuff there...that Barong is catching my eye...

Hey--don't knock the polypropylene handles! :p

Seriously, the micarta looks amazing, and I prefer it over wood, but on the models available in polypro I'm sticking to that good ol' injection molded goodness. Imacasa/Condor polypro is somethin' else! :)

just noticed the tiburon...gonna have to score one for the bro and his tuna fishing...they get big!

Haha, no hate on the thermoplastics here...I still have the grivory scales on my BK9 even though the micarta ones have been out for a while. The polypro on my El Salvador is tough and feels pretty good, no doubt....but I do love me some micarta :D and probably would have opted for that had I been given the opportunity.

Oh, I'm a big fan of micarta too. I plan on redoing the wooden scales on my Condor Viking in some green canvas once I get the time and money. :D It's just hard to beat that polypro for overall toughness and fit security. It's next to impossible to do much more than scratch that stuff.

I remember that vid well  Like I said, I know it's tough stuff. I mean, after all, I did buy one....

Oh at this point I don't think we're even talking for your benefit. Just spreadin' the word. :p

how many for a hudson bay again?

I'm in for 1 or 3 (I have a couple of boys that require me to always buy multiples just so I can keep 1 for myself)...:grumpy:

I was going to buy an ML Knives Hudson Bay so even with buying 3 you're still saving me a ton of cash - which I will spend on 4" Bushcrafts!!!:D

blake

Awesome lineup!!!

Is there any chance that we'll see synthetic handles (plastic or micarta) on the Golok or Sharpfinger in the future?
