Nice "wavy" walnut!!! White micarta shield, nicely fitted!!
My Dollar knife shield is of white micarta! Many colored shields were seen on the old original Dollar knives!! I believe to keep the price at $1.00!!!!What are the shields made of?
Nice work.
If they would round off their handles a little bit and add a bit of swedge so the blades are less two-dimensional, I’d probably buy one. As for now I just enjoy looking at the pictures. They do seem to be making huge improvements over the past year or two though.a tad chunky, but interesting, new knife day for me. might be a bit of a project knife, or the makings of one.

Chunky is a good description. Mine has a 1/8” spine, which I’m not used to seeing on a knife this small. A quote comes to mind of an aeronautical engineer who said his airplane “might not fly, but it certainly won’t break”.a tad chunky, but interesting, new knife day for me. might be a bit of a project knife, or the makings of one.
