I'm not a member at CPF so I'll post this question here (and hope Vincent sees it!): Does this flashlight shut down totally after the run time elapses, or will it still provide dimming light?

That's kinda what I was driving at with Post #26 (link) previously in this thread.

Thanks for your patience with my questions Vincent. I went back and reread your posts here and at CPF. I am really amazed at the output graphs. Very bright, and very long lasting from such a small package. It just seems almost 'too good to be true'.

I've taken the plunge and have ordered the Fenix P1D CE. I was told I should have it on 12/22/06. Merry Christmas to me!

Nope. I read a post a CPF that John at coffmanoutfitters.com had them in stock. So I called to confirm, and John indicated he still had them in stock. I thanked him, hung up the phone and immediately placed my order. He emailed me shortly thereafter and told me to expect the flashlight by Friday.
