New CRK Exclusive **Carbon Fiber**PICS ADDED

Remember the old flipping the screws. I thought about the way this new CF was put together and it seemed more practical to have the thread side on the front, not to mention it looks better. Anyhow, I'm very impressed with this new addition. The weight is fantastic, I've never had a smoother opening Sebenza out of the box, and the lock up is nice, right at 50%. The detent is super strong on mine, and I'm wondering if anyone else has the same? So this will adore my pocket for quite some time to come. I had to remove the lanyard, just didn't look right. Congrats to all who got one! Now.... Where's my small one? :D
A nice couple on top. I tried to capture the lock up, and the bottom shot is with the screws flipped.

blackend: Great pics. I agree that the screws on the titanium side look better, wish I had a spare set of the older ones... Just compared detent on this one to a couple other Sebenza, and does appear stronger to a degree.

lunde: Agreed. If I continue to feel like this one is a keeper, it will be in my next package to CRK for double-silver lugs.

Got mine today, number 42, because it's the answer to life, the universe, and everything. I don't usually go for numbered, and I don't particularly like it, but it is hard to see the number anyway. Will probably keep this one in the box and wait for the un-numbered ones. Anyway, it's a cool Seb, but it doesn't feel like a Seb. It's much lighter, makes a loud "thwack" sound when it locks open, and feels different when locking too. I like the muted "thunk" and heavier feel of the full titanium model. Maybe it will grow on me, but I think I need a regular one too.

This knife is "screaming" for silver thumb lugs.

I absolutely agree, I would even go as far as to say the blue thumb stud and lanyard pin look bad on that knife. In my meaningless opinion of course.

Any bets on how long it will be before one of these first 50 comes up for sale on the forum?
Wow #2 and #4 are already for sale on ebay. I think its pretty lame to buy it with the plan on re-selling it immediately...If you want to be a dealer, be a dealer; but this isn't much different than "scalping" tickets IMO....
Oh well - #3 landed at my house and it's staying:)
The light weight makes it feel totaly different from my other sebenzas. I put a ladder damascus blade in it, and it looked SICK! But the Damascus blade doesn't fitt it quite right and it's too tight to open and close. I'll need to investigate the reason a little bit more and see if it can be solve. The damascus and the CF are a great match!

For the record-I also sold #10 on one of the exchanges. I did sell it for slightly under cost-something else came up that I needed funds for. It is not that unusual for people to buy limited knives for immediate resale. Of the new TAD SnG DGG and CC many have been resold if not all , at decent mark up.

Mine is on its way back to CRK to be retrofitted with silver double thumb lugs.

Thanks you for #10...:)

I was gonna try the raindrop blade on it..I will wait to see if you can come up with something.

Is this sebenza limited in any way or is it just an exclusive?

There are 50 small and 50 large numbered Carbon Fiber Sebenzas being sold only by Knife Art. After that, Knife Art should come out with the non-numbered versions.

It will be interesting to see what eventually becomes available direct from CRK.

Just put my order in - Im pretty pumped as I missed out on the numbered ones.

Wasnt expecting them to be available so soon...
