Wow, what a sweet looking bunch. Dang it, I knew I should have grabbed that Dyed Box Elder Burl Hiking Buddy! There are 2 pics on your page for that knife that don't load so I wasn't sure how wide or narrow the handle was.

This pic is not only beautiful but is a GREAT comparison pic. Can I recommend each new batch gets a "batch photo" like this at the beginning or end of the batch, as if it is a knife?

Question: Which one is the 5th from the right? I'm guessing the Rosewood Hiking Buddy but that appears to have a bad non-loading spine pic too.

That is the rosewood hiking buddy. I'll look into the picture issue and see if its on our end.

Thank you. The knife just spoke to me. Despite my love for the many different wooden handle choices available, I surprised myself and gravitated towards the micarta. I felt this could be a true workhorse. I have two upcoming backpacking trips I plan on taking it on. I'll post some pics once I have it.

You'll love it! The Hiking Buddy is an excellent model and micarta is my preferred handle material so I don't blame you at all!

Got the Bushboot in my hot little hands. Did a little whittling with it this morning. Here's a few pics of the knife.

The blade configuration on this Bushboot is different from my other one where the spalting goes to the top of the blade. What's this style called where the treatment comes to a point?
