New Design Frenzy.

Looks like a skinner in there. Have to keep my eyes open. I second the padre senior notion as well.

I would also like to pile on for a Fiddleback kitchen knife. A 3/32" padre would be awesome.

I'd love that. But then I'd be intimidated that I couldn't match the quality of the mock up....

I seriously doubt that you would have any issues beating a 2d image for quality in your build. If I can get to one is it ok to post it here?

It's quite the different direction that you seem to be taking. It will be interesting to watch and see where you take us on this one.

Um, straight to the piggy bank, duh.

Looking good Andy. I think you should add a Santoku Muk with an 8" blade.

Oops so sorry Andy and Phillip didn't mean to mung up the thread, been in my cooking mode over the holidays so I got too excited and lost self awareness. Looking forward to seeing the new models shown above in their finished states!

Here is a paint up from the sketch, tough to get the shape right due to distortion and perspective throwing things off. Tried to compensate guessing. I can see from Andy's blank frenzy the spine is off for sure.

If this is mucking up the thread let me know and I will remove it.

Oh I like that! That handle looks particularly suited to bolsters.

Glad i'm not the only one who just scribbles out designs the old fashioned way rather than autocad. Whatever that middle row bottom model is, reminds me of a Busse E handle and very stabby, count me in!

Ooooh. trailing points for slicing and skinning. Very nice.

But that middle one in the last comparison pic - I'll take that dressed in a tuxedo please  :D

Looking forward to seeing these take shape.

WOW! That is cool! Thank You!

I thought the knives would have the squiggles on the flats of the blade. Now I am sad. ;)

I saw these on instagram Andy - I am stoked to see what comes out.

here is where we are in the process

The 2nd and 3rd blades from the top look amazing. I like the different handle:blade angle ratios. Looks like you could get some really aggressive push cutting with the 3rd one.
