Here's a new one I just finished. I'd like some opinions on it. Also, How did I do on the "Rustic" finish? I don't usually do this but I was inspired by some of the rustic knives I've been seeing lately:D The blade is just over 5" x 1/8", 1095. Thanks for looking.

Oh definitely, I like that one a lot. It's like a nessie but more useful. Or a nessie and a kephart if they had a bastard child. :)

nice ray , personaly i like your regular ones but this one hits the mark:)

I like that one a LOT Ray. Very similar in look/style to several knives I have or have had in the past and really like.:thumbup:

Oh wow, I absolutely LOVE that blade design, I think it's my favorite of all your designs I've seen so far. The finish looks great, but I think it is screaming to have some wood scales on it. The micarta just looks out of place with the finish and blade shape.

Awesome design. I agree with stingray4540 - a model with wood handles would be terrific. This knife has curves in all the right places!

All the best,

- Mike

biiiiiiiiiiiiiig belly, and a very solid pointed tip. That design would be awesome at about .1 inches with a scandi grind for skinning and such. The rustic finish is solid, the handle seems to offer a very full grip. Rustic looking jimping would be perfect on the back, even if it's just 3-4 of them.

Great knife! As has been said, looks like a Kep-muk, or a Ness-hart. Whichever you like best. I like the micarta handles!

Ray, this knife is great looking. I really like the Nessmuck shape with the pointy tip. The overall appearance of the knife is very rugged looking. What material is the handle?
