Hey buddy

Still traveling

I have pics and video that I will get up ASAP

Oooooooooooooooooooo, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............

Be safe as you travel my friend. :)

Yep. I thought I might be able to resist, until I had one in hand. Way too much fun. The creativity and engineering Matt put into this knife is very impressive. And having Matt, Joe, David, and crew at the booth, all such incredibly great human beings just made it all the more fun. Mike

Awesome knife from an awesome guy. I got to listen to Matt talk to Mike Vagnino about the aebl lock (Mike was using a different steel) it was like watching aliens speak another language.

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. Just wanted to chime in on the MD D/A knives. I have 5 custom autos and two are from Matt. I agree, this guy is a genius. Hidden release autos are just plain awesome, and to have it in a custom is even better. But where Matt really takes the cake is in creativity. I have the Wheel - who on earth could think of that? Jim Skeletons review, where he said it was the only HR D/A to open with a dial, made me get it. Anytime I hear someone of Jims stature say ONLY, I get excited.

When the Revolution came out, I couldn't get my credit card out fast enough. I got the blue and CF one. Ho..... Ly......... ^%#+!

Really?! I mean this is beyond beautiful, beyond imaginative. Sheer genius. I have never felt the Fire, but these are my two favorite autos, just edging out the custom D.O.C Killswitch.

I notice a big step up (from an already extremely high step) between the Wheel and the Rev. Which means Matt's skills have not plateaued. That's nuts to wrap my head around. That he is still evolving.

What's next? A reverse opening, scale wheel, slide and swipe knife? LOL

Whatever it is, I can only imagine how insanely amazing it will be.

Well done, Matt. Thanks for bringing such beauty and originality to the custom auto market. There may be equally great makers, but when I think custom auto I think of u. Just so incredibly unique and innovative. U r a one of a kind mastermind.

Steven, lmao with that comment. I am a total newcomer to knife collecting, and even newer to forums. This is just Day 2 on forums, here and JD.

I do, however do a lot of research. I've probably watched every Jim S video, Cutlerylover, NTF, etc. plus reading like every description of every knife LOL. I got into it about two months ago and hit it hard. Like 20k hard and hours of research every day. Ugggggggg. Put me in a financial pinch, but I am settling down a bit.

Ive got 4 of the large spyderco bags full of production, MT and custom folders, autos and Balis

Thanks for the awesome comment:) Now just so u know how much of a noob I am, here is a question. I can't get the Revolution to fire for the life of me. First ten times or so it was tricky but got it. I think it has something to do w having opened it w thumb stud a few times. When I close the blade, I don't feel that resistance that autos give. Any advice ?

Thanks:)
Josh

Thank YOU buddy and Matt!!! It is so fine....the most hidden release goin', bar none. Silky smooth and fires like a Saturn V, none finer.

Yes indeed. I am dying to get my hand on the protech harkins ATAC but just can't afford it now. I do have one of his semi custom Tritons in all camo. Pretty sick.

Most recent auto acquisitions are Heretic Martyr and MT UT zombie edition. That tanto zombie was my dream knife. Never thought it would come back in stock.

If any of u guys have favorite production, MT or custom autos LMK. I love hearing direct experience from people who have been ballin for a while.

Ohhhhhhhhhh Custom Hawk Deadlock my ultimate grail. And a Halo V.

Still, Nothing will ever overtake the Diskins, and I would love to find the fire. Also heard he has a midtech line w about 15 models. Is this true or is it a mythical fable for the "Diskin Dreamers?"
