New EDC line up

It's a very nice and well made little knife Barrett with little being the key word. :D The Gabon Ebony is beautiful IMO. I get frustrated at GEC some times trying to acquire certain patterns but not so bad that I won't buy them because they do make an outstanding knife. I cleaned the patina off, oiled and sharpened it and it looks and cuts very good so I'm going to carry it for awhile to see if I can get use to such a small knife. I know many folks really love a small knife. Carl comes to mind for his love of Peanuts.

Jack it is a bit too small for my usual taste but I bought it from Brett (KBA) he sold it and some more knives with funds going to Bob so I was happy to help out and will most likely keep it for sentimental reasons as Bob is a good friend.

that is true! nice little watch pocket knife definitely

... In my little canvas bag I have 10 knives to rotate and use until after the first of the year. The contents of my bag will grow as purchases are made in fact I have a Queen #41 Copperhead and a #14 Boy's knife coming next week. Here are the knives I chose to keep out and use over the next few months... How about posting some pictures of the knives you use in your daily use rotation I am very curious as to what you folks use.
...
Thanks for starting this thread, Randy; it's been interesting to see what forumites have in their rotations! Sorry it's taken me a week to post here.

It's also been interesting to see how much your little band of 10 "survivors" has grown already in a week! :D I don't think you're going to have any difficulty making it to the New Year. (It's not like the "challenge" Andi (Humppa) faced a couple of years ago when he just had 2 or 3 knives for 4 months or something.)

I consider all of my knives to be potential users, so every knife I have is in my rotation. Almost 3 years ago, I decided to start carrying a pocket knife, and searched the house to find that I had 4 of them. Now I have more than I would have ever considered possible back then! To make sure each knife gets a chance to be carried, I made up a weekly rotation schedule that currently has 10 categories of knives (Alox, stockman, canoe, European, miscellaneous, etc.). So each week the schedule dictates what 10 knives I'll carry for the week, and it currently takes 20 weeks to get all the way through the schedule (there are repetitions in some of the categories where I don't have at least 20 knives). You'll probably agree that it's not feasible for me to post pictures of my "users rotation"! ;)

I tend to carry so many at a time, I don't even think of it as rotation anymore, I'm afraid. I recently got the orders to put most of mine away, due(rightly so) to child safety. Even the top of my tall dresser wasn't enough, because our little one is such an acrobat  I rarely confess to what I carry for various reasons, but on a given day it's likely to include my Dozier, Queen #49(f or h, take your pick) bem, mini-copperhead (W), a thick SAK, a very small A G Russell lockback, and a kershaw that shan't be spoken of, and an Emerson to which the same applies. There may or may not be others, as I do like to move things around. Add all that to everything else I carry(yes always cargo pants or shorts. Well insulated bibs in winter) and as posted elsewhere, I am thinking of becoming a bracers-and-belt man. I know. I have a...problem. Not enough bloody pockets!
Thanks, Neal
Ps lovely knives all! Very nice mod, umm...BM. Other fixies get rotated around too

Neal, sounds like you need a modified bandolier for everyday carry. [emoji41]
