This thread is cracking me up! but to be honest, if I had the money to spare, I would get one of those funky colored ESEE Junglas Blades. I like the venom green blade and orange slabs, looks OK! to me.

I'd just like to add that destroying the cartel's growing operations isn't just for an "anti-weed war". It's a financial hit on the Cartels, maybe not a huge one but it does hit them were it hurts the most, their wallets. I'm all for destroying as much of any drug in mexico that we can. If it hurts the cartels it's a good thing. Besides, I buy american ;)

Also, so what about the people who run the companies might be poopy heads? If the Product works, it works. You think the manager of every store you shop at is always a "nice" person? probably not. I also see no reason to get so upset about other people's preferences, that's just stupid. No one is forcing you to buy it, let other people enjoy what they enjoy.

So can I ask you why they have to use ESEE as the name? I assume it stands for such and such xyz, or whatever, but the term esee or ese is slang for gang member or vato . It seems to me that a knife company that makes knives for military / adventure purposes would refrain from associating itself with low-down degenerates whether it is the intent OR NOT. I tried out a Rat-5 it wasn't a bad knife but to me I didn't connect with it (and that was in pre-ESEE time) but now that this is the name I wouldn't even bother with trying it out based on the name alone.

WHAT gives?
 
I couldn't care less about the VG ESEEs. No interest. But I also know (because I use my knives) ESEE knives perform absolutely sublime in hard use situations. Spending several hundred dollars for a Busse knife that does nothing more than my 2 ESEEs could, doesn't interest me.

....lol even my pimped up 31 dollar CS Spike Hawk competes with Busse. Sad.
