You'll notice that absolutely nowhere have they made any references to zombies. If anyone buys a venom green ESEE because they want to kill zombies with it, that's their own shtick. :p The only reason why folks are trying to make that tenuous connection is because the KA-BAR Zombie Knives have bright green handles. Which can be replaced with black. Which must mean that all knives in bright green must be about zombies. Guess that USN Endura a while back was about zombies too! :D

Yea me too . Its the colour scheme of a 1974 stoners nightmare.
The teatowel head in the dakka plantation is probably the farmer.
Oh yeahh a big sharp knife would be just as much use to a dope farmer as anyone else .
How is a knife "anti narcrcotic"? its just a knife . I reckon it must have something to do with those vomit inducing colours.
 
I'm holding out for the anticipated "Pirates of the Caribbean" model with a glow-in-the-dark blade coating and royal purple handle, with the "anti-piracy knife" advertisement showing a pirate with the knife and a treasure chest.

I want it to be known, I like Busse knives and I like ESEE knives, to be honest I have had more Busse knives than ESEE but will get more of both I hope in the future. Hell I really like knives like all knives except for cheap china made knives.

Mike Perrin said the new color is to signifiy their knives as vampire killing knives. Supposedly, you'll get an ESEE survival stake along with it.

Not sure which vampires he's talking about, the emo, brooding sparkly ones, or the burn up in sunlight ones. If figure it will do good against either.

I don't know how it will do against werewolves though, I'll have to ask about that one.

Werewolf ones have multiple fullers inlaid with silver. :D

All this said, I hate the name, but love the knife. As soon as I can get one, my youngest is getting one of the ESEE Candiru blades. Probably have to send it off for another color coating (she likes purple). :D

I got to check them out thoroughly at SHOT, and they are gonna be a hit.

This thread currently has 10,000+ hits. Some of those hits means sales. And thats the whole point of the goofy color scheme. Score one for ESEE.

And honestly, the color scheme is so insane that now I almost want one. Even if it does make my tummy hurt.
 
Every knife group has its own fanboys. I am a Busse and Becker fan as stated previously but I think ESEE makes great knives too. Used to have a Junglas and it performed amazing. I just hate it when the ESEE fanboys go over the top and bash all the other companies. Makes em look bad. I dont really see other fanboys doing the same.

I think he should put it flat on the curb and see if the handle can be staightened. I'm about ready for a Becker neck knife after watching these videos! :D

Err, really? Bashings other companies is a definite part of the typical fanboy's way of life. I can't say many other companies get bashed by esee fans though I mean the world of full tang hard use fixed blades with lifetime warranties isn't that big. :D

If they make the candiru in that color scheme I'd buy one, easy to lose a little knife, but I cannot see forgetting where you put an rc6
