Just give your favorite dealer a call. We have a good stock on these and all of the dealers that had them on back order should be receiving them any day.

These new versions are made by Rowen as opposed to a third party.

The new versions also have survival information engraved around the outside and a better sealing o-ring system.

They also have a compass included.
 
Can someone answer a couple of questions regarding the gen 1 and gen 2 misch metal fire kits? I have a couple of the old ones and will be ordering some new ones. I'm having some Kydex loops made so I need to know...

Is the flint the same size on both and, if so, can someone confirm the flint's diameter at 3/8"?

If they are not the same, I would truly appreciate it if someone would post the dimensions for the flints - gen 1 and gen 2.
