I think rags sees a thread post up and immediately considers how best to resurrect it in 15 years or.so, when everyone else has long forgotten about it
Honestly I have to agree with DamascusBowie I doubt this will ever happen. I mean I want it to. But if guys have been asking for another folder for this long I just don’t know. This old thread gives me less hope not more lol.
With the Strengths of Busse Small Fixed Blades why would anyone want a Busse Folder...Well The Quality of Workmanship and the Name are Tributes to Hard Working knives. There are some Early Folders that elder Hogs were lucky enough to score at Blade with the conditions to never sell or post photos and there are even a couple of Folders made from fixed blades that were cut and drilled to make the folders. I believe when Jerry gets ready and has his lock mechanism perfected to be covered by Lifetime Warranty we MAY get a chance to see another folder. I would personally prefer a Non-INFI blade maybe Elmax which is a Great Stainless for folders!!!Infi raises the stakes somewhat but not nearly enough imho, as the main strengths of Busse heat-treated infi are wasted on a folding knife. The uniformity, strength and grain consistency of the blade tip to butt are all compromised by the hinge.
I held the latest prototype @ Blade 2015. It's badazz. He's still tinkering with his design, which is hopeful, better than hearing nothing & seeing nothing on the folder front.Honestly I have to agree with DamascusBowie I doubt this will ever happen.
