I've been buying knives for over a decade but for some reason never got any micarta knives until this year. I have a Civivi Elementum but that micarta is kind of a joke, then I got a QSP Pelican and it's much nicer micarta. My buddy also has a micarta Biblio from ACE which is good quality. I'm just wondering what others are out there with full micarta, with some nice texture so it ages. I'd want at least a 3" blade, no lockbacks, and natural micarta.

You could go for the elusive Spyderco Shaman Crucarta or get some fireside scales for a shaman.

Another one to look at is the Liong Mah Lanny. It is a waxed micarta. Ages well.

Protech is doing some autos with micarta front scales. Those are pretty great.

What else...

Hinderers have micarta scale options.

Oh, you might be interested in the Arcform Catalyst in black DLC with micarta. The Darcform. I can take a photo of it if you want.

Hope this short list helps.

I like the Shaman Crucarta, are they just being made in sprint runs or what?

Also like the Darcform, could you post some pictures? Thanks for the ideas.

There's a dealer exclusive Emerson Sheepdog with micarta scales and an S35VN blade. It's a non-supporting dealer, so I won't mention the name. It's a great knife, awesome action and great ergos.

(since this picture I lightly sanded it so the whole scale looked like the lighter upper portion, it's starting to take on a whole new patina)
