I have a few custom knives. A couple with micarta. But I've never outfitted a locking folder with custom scales. One of y'all has a Hinderer with denim(?) micarta... @jdmvette maybe it was even this one. Love it.Recently added a micarta scale to my XM-18 and fell in love.

It really is some great stuff.![]()
That does look fantastic. Regrind?
I haven’t purchased anything but a Crk in quite some time but that one is definitely temptingMicarta scales on the 0640 are kinda perfect IMO

Try the kizer clutch. I have one debating selling. It's just awesome feeling with the micarta. I put food grade oil on mine and it made it dark red.I've been buying knives for over a decade but for some reason never got any micarta knives until this year. I have a Civivi Elementum but that micarta is kind of a joke, then I got a QSP Pelican and it's much nicer micarta. My buddy also has a micarta Biblio from ACE which is good quality. I'm just wondering what others are out there with full micarta, with some nice texture so it ages. I'd want at least a 3" blade, no lockbacks, and natural micarta.
