Recommendation? New found love for micarta

Damn, that 0640 is top notch!

I also have a 112 Slim Pro in brown micarta like the pic above. I know it's a lockback, but it definitely looks cool and takes the knife to another level.

Thank you. What is your favorite?

I really like the standard 110, just something about it. I have a custom coming, S30v drop point with nickle silver bolsters and blue wood. But the slim pro 112 really surprised me. The 110 with micarta doesn't feel that solid, the handles flex too much (might have just been the ones I checked out), but the 112 feels really solid. Great snap and solid lockup with no play, and a very sharp factory edge.

So, a tie between the slim pro 112 and standard 110 I guess!

Recently added a micarta scale to my XM-18 and fell in love.

It really is some great stuff.

I have a few custom knives. A couple with micarta. But I've never outfitted a locking folder with custom scales. One of y'all has a Hinderer with denim(?) micarta... @jdmvette maybe it was even this one. Love it. abbazaba abbazaba that ZT is sweet too wow.

I really like that 0640... I'm guessing it doesn't come with micarta by default though?

I used to not like micarta at all. But now I like it well enough depending on what knife it is a d how it strikes me from one knife to another. I like G10too, and several textures of micarta or G10.

A lot of companies are doing real good micarta these days.

I do like the micarta on my Viper Ten. It's a sub-frame lock.
Looks a bit boxy, but I also don't have huge hands. About 4" across, and while I can wear large gloves no problem, I typically do prefer the snug fit of mediums, because my fingers all fill to the very tips.
That said the Viper Ten actually fits my hand great, the micarta is great, action is great, and it's starting to show character...

Use the search engine on a site like bladeHQ, (my favorite search engine so far), and search for micarta + your other preferences, and see what peaks your fancy.

So far my favorites are definitely the ZT, Arcform, and the Spydercos with custom scales. I also have a Ritter Grip that I want custom scales for so I may just do that after how happy I am with the Bugout scales from DeathGripScales.

BladeHQ only had two pages of "micarta folders", bah.

EDIT: Never mind, used the actual filter instead and now have a lot more to look at.

I'd love a Shirogorov but they're basically impossible it get.

Also like the Shaman a lot.

I've been buying knives for over a decade but for some reason never got any micarta knives until this year. I have a Civivi Elementum but that micarta is kind of a joke, then I got a QSP Pelican and it's much nicer micarta. My buddy also has a micarta Biblio from ACE which is good quality. I'm just wondering what others are out there with full micarta, with some nice texture so it ages. I'd want at least a 3" blade, no lockbacks, and natural micarta.
Try the kizer clutch. I have one debating selling. It's just awesome feeling with the micarta. I put food grade oil on mine and it made it dark red.
