Recommendation? New found love for micarta

If you like the micarta on your buddy's ace biblio i say get the ace grand. Hard to find at dealers but they pop up on the exchange a bit. Natural or green micarta options.
 
Can anyone comment on QSPs micarta? OP says he was pleased with the quality on his QSP pelican. I gave a QSP penguin as a gift and the micarta was underwhelming IMO.
Anyone have experience with other QSP models?
