BTW, can't sell a $140 knife for $95...most of you here know my margins...besides, my accountant, not to mention my wife, would kick my ars

I think you might be a little confused (or is it me), but I think he meant that he (Mike) would credit you the complete amount of your original charge + the cost of you shipping it back. Then when the correct (higher priced) knife is sent, you will be billed your original amount again. In my internet dealings that is exactly the way it is done. I don't believe you can ask for a $45 discount on a $140 knife for an honest mistake. Mike is not making that kind of profit margin. Does anyone else see this differently?
