I finally made the trip to New Graham knives in Bluefield, VA. This is a small, but truly quality, knife store. I was impressed by their high-end production selection. They had virtually all the Benchmades and Spydercos I am familiar with and several other quality brands as well. Pricing and service are both good here. I got a good deal on a Benchmade 530 Axis (my first Benchmade).

To boot, Bluefield is a pleasant town and the people there were nice.

Just wanted to let all know that this is a quality place.

I just got an ARC AAA from them - two days after I ordered it with standard (cheap) shipping. I love those guys. One of these days I'll visit...

Thanks for the good words guys...
While the knives sit in a small corner of our gift shop, retail inventory is well over half million dollars!...hard to believe, but stocking over 200 SKU's of BM as well as every Spyderco and Case we can get will dig into pockets deeply...I placed a "fill in" order for William Henrys today...came to over 5000.00 at dealer cost...to paraphrase one forumites sig line, quality only makes you cry once>

Got two of my favorite knives from newgraham. Great prices and delivery.
Michael provides a fine service for us here. And his web site is super.
Cheers,
og

They are great folks to deal with.....and don't forget about the free bandaids!! :D

My brother (Murnax) and I , made the trip down there at the beginning of the school semester in january. Great town, awesome shop, and the chance to meet the owner and webmaster of new graham was well worth the drive. Oh yes, and the knife selection was truly awesome and incredible. We both got to see several knife models we had only seen in photographs before that. We ended up chatting with them for almost a hour and a half, the last hour being after the pharamcy had closed. We both ended up with some new knives and lights, I got a spyderco native II and a blue photon II, and Murnax a arc aaa and a kershaw(rainbow leek I think). Great shop, ordered from them before, will definitly order from them in the future, and look forward to visiting the store in person again.

I sure plan to put Bluefield on my list to visit next time I'm in that area. In the meantime I think the newgraham website is tops. Whenever I want to check on a knife design that's the place I look.
Cheers,
og

See people......everyone loves NewGraham Knives. I haven't heard of anyone with a horror story from them at all. How many other knife shops can you say that about...not many. Every time I call, they always treat me with top notch service. Prices are great as well.......so what's stopping you from buying from there? You be happy you dealt with them.
ENJOY! :)

Mr. Dye, thank you for responding. I surely appreciate your sacrifice in terms of money and time to bring quality and courtesy to our hobby.

I ordered a Benchmade special edition (940 with Carbon Fiber Scales and a D2 blade). The price was terrific, the order arrived quickly, and it came with a cool pack of Band-Aids "just in case." What a great sense of humor. I was impressed!

Hey, Mike--when are you guys going to open that Hawaii store :D ? Of course if you were down here then I wouldn't get to rag you guys about the weather anymore ;) :p .

Great, friendly service, great prices, prompt shipping -- what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, and I always end up using the bandaids while I get used to cutting myself with my new knife. ;)

What the heck, I may as well chime in :)

Newgraham is the best!!! I've placed many orders with them and they have always arrived quickly and perfectly. The prices are outstanding and how can you argue with free band-aids in a dispenser!!! If they have it, that is where I get it.

I got a BM42 and 942 from NGK recently. Great prices, great service, fast shipping, and I don't know what I'd do without those bandaids.

I'm quite pleased with everything I ordered from them. And those free bandaids were quite helpful when I opened by new Chinook II

I'm just thankful that they are not any closer to where I live. ;)

They are the best, and it is a real pleasure to visit them in person.

Chris
