I live about an hour from Bluefield Va. and just learned of NGK over the holidays while I had some time off from work to poke around on the computer. My lady and I decided to drive down there today an have a look see. We showed up at 3
m after dropping the kids off at Grandmas. The store closes at 2m on Saturdays, open until 6 during the week.
I was really disappointed after staring through the locked doors at the goodies inside, so my gal drug me into the gift shop next door, since her best friends birthday was today.
We looked at all the knick-naks and the ladies at the gift shop were very helpful and asked if we were looking for anything in particular, we told them that we had drove down to look at the knife shop. We were told that it was closed and we continued to look around. After about 5 minutes one of the ladies approached me and said that if we could hang around for a few more minutes, she was going to get us in the knife shop. Two minutes later she said that Mike was over there and if we would tap on the door he would let us in.
We went next door and were greeted by Mike saying that they were still there working on inventory and that he would turn some lights on so that we could look around and he would be glad to help us if we wanted him to let us look at anything in the cases.
The store was great, all the best parts of SMKW plus the better stuff that you don't find there.
It has been a long time since I have had anyone go out of their way for me in this fashion. New Graham Knives is a 1st class act and I will be shopping a lot there in the future.
Thanks Mike and all the Ladies in the gift shop!!!! You have my business from now on!!!!!
