Well, had my stress test at the hospital today, passed it easily, so tomorrow the Gallbladder comes out. I'll be laid up a bit from surgery, but it'll be nice to feel better. Been sick quiet some time.

So I was feeling a bit rough and the mailman bring me a package, from a trade I made with Marcelo Cantu. It's my sweet factory micarta scales F-1. WOW! I have seen some customs that were not this nice. I had an H-1 with custom scales I really regret getting rid of, but for some reason :) I don't miss it that much now. Pics to follow soon.

Thanks Bro, I am actually excited about it. Been sick for years and they thought it was my liver. One visit to the new dr. and they find it . So I am very happy to be on the road to good health again!
 
NICE! I am somewhat of an F1 addict. I have two of the standard ones and a custom from JRE on the way. I think my next will be just like that. What a beauty!

Great stuff, a full-tang rehandled F1 is on my short wish list! Great looking blade. It seems so improveable over the standard F1. Best of luck through the surgery !!

I just read the fine print, a nice surprise . Laminated VG-10. For some reason I was thinking it was solid. So it'll act just like my H-1. Been thinking, I still need another h-1. Maybe I'll track down a bare blade and use the same black linen micarta and have a pair. Thanks for all the positive thoughts guys. I'm gonna be better than I have in a while. Just sucks having no health insurance AND being off work for a bit.
 
Hey my Gall-brother. I spent last night in the ER because of a really bad Gall bladder attack, I was pretty sure I was going to die.

Best of luck with that surgery.

Hey, ask the surgeon if he'll do it with the new knife, ultimate test for the edge.

Shotgunner, I was actually gonna put that in my first post,lol. I belive the edge is sharp enough! Yep, I've spent many a night at the hospital , so dehydrated because I couldn't even keep a sip of water down.
 
I have to have all of those tests now too. If I pass, they will change my left shoulder . The joint is shot big time. It's been killing me for five years or more and it's no longer worth debating, its gotta go.:grumpy:

Do those have convexed edges? If so, might be a good sub for the BRKT I wont be buying now. :grumpy:

Yup, full convex. I only have 1 Fallkniven (an f1) which I was very pleased with the fit and finish of, and I havent heard any specific problems only the occasional generalization that "their f/f isnt perfect".
